Howell United Soccer Club U-12 Girls (Fall '09) Storm will hold tryouts 6- 7:30 p.m. July 10 at the Howell Middle School North soccer field. The Storm are a new team of experienced girls looking for a few committed players. Interested players should contact howellstorm@ymail.com for additional information.

A beginner soccer "Kick It!" program for children ages 4-8 will be conducted by Ocean County Parks and Recreation. The fee is $13 per child, and players must bring their own ball. The program will be offered 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, July 28 through Aug. 11, at Patriots Park, Jackson (program number 223312-3C). To register, send a check made payable to the County of Ocean to 1198 Bandon Road, Toms River, NJ 08753. Include name, telephone number and program number when registering.
