Tennis tourney will benefit Dottie's House
      Childers Sotheby's International Realty will host its fourth annual Jersey Shore Tennis Open Tournament to benefit Dottie's House at 8:30 a.m. July 25 at the Toms River Country Club, 419 Washington St., Toms River. All of the proceeds will be donated to Dottie's House, which provides long-term transitional housing for women and children who have survived domestic violence.

Concert will support military personnel
      Fubarfest 2, a concert to support the troops, will be held at 1 p.m. July 18 at the Jackson Veterans of Foreign Wars post home, 54 Magnolia Drive, Jackson. The event will feature 10 underground bands who will travel from throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania to honor U.S. troops, veterans and fallen heroes who have preserved the freedom of the nation since 1775.

      The 15th annual Funtasia Festival for Kids will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 24 at Ocean County Park, Route 88, Lakewood. The free festival, sponsored by Ocean County Parks and Recreation, will feature the Lisa Lewis One Woman Circus, Ferris the Great Magic Show, music, games, sports demonstrations, rides, and more.
