Strand will present doo-wop show

Audience members will be taken on a stroll down memory lane with some of the most popular performers from the 1960s when the Strand Theater, 400 Clifton Ave., Lakewood, presents "Saturday Night Jukebox," an oldies/doo-wop show, at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26. Entertainment will include Jimmy Clanton, known for "Just a Dream," "Go Jimmy Go," and "Venus in Blue Jeans"; Shirley Alston Reeves, who sang "Soldier Boy," "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow," and "Mama Said" with the Shirelles; and the Duprees, who sang "You Belong to Me," "Have You Heard," and "My Own True Love." An added treat will feature The Knockouts, who sang "Darling Lorraine," and The Barons performing "Pledge of a Fool" and "Possibility." Tickets are $48, $39 and $25.
