      Good move to honor former Jackson resident
            I am a former resident of Jackson. I lived there for most of my first 27 years (I am 48 now). I was a resident when Jackson's population was 5,500 and most Township Committee meetings were conducted at "the Brookwood." I pass through Jackson several times a month and have watched it grow.

That is why many people in the United States would prefer not to tackle comprehensive health care reform at the present time. They are not willing to support across-the-board reform such as the bills currently being proposed in Congress.

      Chris Christie's plan will punish criminal office-holders
            Now that dozens of elected Democratic officials and operatives have been arrested and charged with corruption in a sweeping investigation begun under Chris Christie's watch as U.S. attorney, Gov. Jon Corzine has suddenly found the gumption to demand that the accused politicians resign from office and the entrenched interests in Trenton adopt sweeping ethics reforms.
