The Freehold Art Society is currently exhibiting the work of its members at the Howell branch of the Monmouth County Library System, 318 Old Tavern Road, Howell, through Nov. 2. The Crosswicks-Doctors Creek Watershed Association is sponsoring a kayak and canoe race and tour on the Crosswicks Creek on Nov. 1. Both events will begin 8 a.m. at the Oakford Lake Dam in New Egypt.
