Mrs. Vitola, 90, of Toms River, died Sept. 22, 2009, at Bey Lea Nursing Home in Toms River. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Freehold and Howell for 60 years before moving to Toms River 11 years ago. Mrs. Vitola retired 27 years ago from Brockway Glass Co. in Freehold, where she was employed for 20 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Fiore Vitola. Surviving are two sons; Lonnie Hewes of Toms River and Joseph Vitola of Howell, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Manchester, followed by burial at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
