Administrators, teachers, students proud to be part of Johnson School

      Students, teachers, administrators and alumni gathered at the Howard C. Johnson School, Larsen Road, in Jackson recently to celebrate the school's 40th anniversary. Principal Al Giambrone welcomed the guests to the event and said, "I'm just very excited to celebrate 40 years of excellence here at the Howard C. Johnson School.

Older students help ease transition to high school
      PLUMSTED — Upperclassmen at New Egypt High School are trying to make things easier for students who have entered the ninth grade. "New Egypt High School junior class and senior class representatives, 33 in all, have been trained as peer assistant leaders," said PAL adviser Jacqueline Duca.
