Tickets available for school's gift auction
      JACKSON — The Rosenauer Elementary School will host its second annual gift auction at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Woodlake Country Club, 25 New Hampshire Ave., Lakewood. Tickets for the event are $35 per person and include a dinner of roasted sliced sirloin, roasted chicken or a vegetarian entrée.

Touch a Truck event will be held Oct. 25

Howell SEPAC to host Lucky Lady event
      Howell SEPAC (Special Education Parents Advisory Committee) will host a "Lucky Lady" fundraising event at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Newbury School, 179 Newbury Road, Howell. Lucky ladies are invited to come alone or in a group of up to 10 people. Lucky Lady is a game of chance for women over age 18 in which prizes are awarded. Participants must bring quarters.

      A Comedy Night fundraiser starring Paul Venier hosted by the Cassville Volunteer Fire Company, Jackson, will be held Oct. 24. the Miller Avenue Fire Station, 785 Miller Ave., Jackson. Tickets are $25 and include two free drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets can be purchased at the door, but advance ticket purchase receives preferred seating.

Patch hours are noon to 6 p.m. Sunday through Friday and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, Family Fun Day will be held Oct. 24, with face painting and pumpkin painting.
