      Rat Pack tribute show coming to New Egypt
            The Plumsted Township Council for the Arts will present a tribute to the Rat Pack at 7 p.m. Nov. 7. The tribute will feature Dean Martin impersonator Rich Sette and Frank Sinatra impersonator Jonni Drue. The show, offered as part of the council's First Saturday's program, will take place at the Welcome Center, 31 Main St., New Egypt.

      School will host holiday food drive
            A Thanksgiving food drive to benefit Howell's Emergency Food Pantry and community members in need will be held Nov. 2-19 at the Lil'achievers early childhood learning center, 326 Ford Road, Howell. Residents are encouraged to drop off nonperishable items at the school Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

      Liberty Oak Chorus to sing at Victorian fest
            The award-winning Liberty Oak Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, will be a featured performer at the second annual Victorian Festival and Gift Boutique to be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4-6 at Georgian Court University, Lakewood, in the Casino Auditorium.

      Host homes sought for Russian ballerinas
            The Moscow Classical Ballet will be returning to Algonquin Arts in Manasquan in November to perform "The Nutcracker" on Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Host families are needed to share their time and their homes with the professional Russian dancers from this troupe.

      Lt. Zilinski Memorial Run set for Nov. 8
            The fourth annual Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial 3.5-mile run and 2-mile walk will take place on Nov. 8 at the PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel (rain or shine). Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m., an opening ceremony will be held at 8:50 a.m., and the race will start at 10 a.m.

      Greater Media slates Halloween event
            Greater Media radio stations WJRZ-FM (100.1) and WRAT-FM (95.9) will host a Haunted Halloween House Party 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Oct. 31 at Martell's, Point Pleasant Beach. The event is sponsored by Pepsi and will feature live music from Daddy Pop. A fourpack of passes can by won by listening to 95.9 WRAT or signing up at wrat.com.
