Sport Shorts

Several local champions from the 2010 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship that was held at St. Veronica’s School, Howell, have earned the right to advance to the district competition. Named as champs were Madison Gibson, Howell, and Anthony Bove, Freehold (10-year-old age group); Maureen Coakley and Zachary Barnes, both of Howell (11-year-old age group); Zachary Barnes, Howell, (12-yearold age group); Grace Groh, Howell (13- year-old age group); and Samantha Stazko and David Furbish, both of Jackson (14- year-old age group).
