Individuals who are looking to work in the sports industry can take advantage of a networking opportunity as the Lakewood BlueClaws host their first Sports Management and Networking Night on June 17.

Presenters include Joe Favorito, a longtime sports media professional. Speakers from the New York Jets, New Jersey Devils, ESPN, and the Yankees Radio Network will also be in attendance.

“This is really a unique event for us,” said Lakewood BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. “There are a lot of people who are looking to get into the sports industry, and this event provides them with a way to get their foot in the door.”

The event, which includes a meet-andgreet picnic at that night’s 7:05 p.m. game at FirstEnergy Park, Lakewood, will begin at 4 p.m. with introductions and round-table discussions.

There will also be time for Q&A with the speakers, who will stay to enjoy the allyou can-eat picnic during the game.
