OceanFirst Bank kicked off the summer by giving away an all-expense paid “Day at the Beach” for six people. During May and June, visitors to the bank’s Freehold and Jackson branches entered to win a Beach Party Package.
The winner was Linda Parker-Wenig from Monroe Township. She and five others will be escorted by limo to Martell’s in Point Pleasant Beach, where they will each be given beach badges and a catered lunch.
After a day in the sun, the limo will bring the group to Brielle for dinner at the Sandbar Restaurant and an evening ocean boat ride during a fireworks display. Parker- Wenig also received a $150 gift certificate to Brave New World and a beach bag filled with gifts, suntan lotion, OceanFirst beach towels, and more.
Parker-Wenig and her husband, Bob, picked up her prize on July 8 at the Ocean- First Freehold Marketplace office. Parker- Wenig will bring her husband and four family members from Long Island, N.Y., and Delaware with her to the beach, since they all love summers at the Jersey Shore.
OceanFirst Bank, founded in 1902 and headquartered in Toms River, has 23 branch locations throughout Ocean, Monmouth and Middlesex counties.
A Lunch and Learn Summer Seminar Series on Finances, hosted by the Howell Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 27 at the Chapter House, Howell. Dennis O’Brien of Coastal Financial Advisors will present information about health care updates, health savings accounts and the differences between a health savings account, a health reimbursement account and a flexible spending account. The cost, including lunch, is $15 for chamber members, with an additional $5 charged for prospective members. For further information or to RSVP, call 732-363-4114.
