Jackson library lists programs and events JACKSON — The Jackson library, Jackson Drive, will have the following displays and programs during the month of August:Acrylic and oil paintings by Linda Sloan will be on exhibit in the meeting room. World War II model airplanes will be in the foyer case. Winning designs from the “Make Splash with LEGOS” program will be in the stairway area display cases. “Make Splash” mural, posters and artwork will be displayed on the walls of the children’s area. The library’s 2010 Summer Reading Club for children age 2 through sixth grade ends Aug. 16. Register now and read five books by Aug. 16 to earn a Friends of the Library raffle ticket and get an invitation to the Summer Reading Celebrations.
