Mr. McMillan, 76, of Howell, died Aug. 28, 2010, at home. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served during the Korean War aboard the USS New Jersey. Prior to his retirement, he was a supervisor for A.M. Weismann Wholesale Meat, Perth Amboy, for over 30 years. He was also the former treasurer for the N.J. Parkinson Disease Association, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, for 15 years. Mr. McMillan was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Schaefer McMillan, in 2002; and a daughter, Kathleen McMillan, in 1974. Surviving are a son, Robert T. McMillan, and his wife, Cynthia, of Old Bridge; a daughter, Patricia Hruska, and her husband, Robert, of Howell; nine grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Veronica Catholic Church, Howell, followed by interment at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Spring Lake. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
