      Donald J. Farrell
            Mr. Farrell, 76, of Manalapan, died July 21, 2010, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He served in the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he was a senior underwriter for Metropolitan Life Insurance. Mr. Farrell was predeceased by three siblings, William, George and Mabel; and three brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Chic and John.

      Bernard Tare
            Mr. Tare, 84, of Jackson, formerly of Freehold Township, died Aug. 1, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran and had served in the Philippines. Mr. Tare was the co-owner and operator of Star Auto Store, Freehold, for 32 years. He was a graduate of City College of New York.

      John M. “Jack” Flood
            Mr. Flood, 78, of Howell, died Aug 26, 2010, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local No. 825, Springfield, for many years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, attaining the rank of corporal. Mr. Flood was predeceased by a brother, Robert H. Flood.

      Hatidje Ramiz
            Mrs. Ramiz, 82, of Jackson, died Aug. 27, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Cyprus and had resided in Marlboro before moving to Jackson Township three years ago. Prior to her 1996 retirement, Mrs. Ramiz worked as a seamstress in New York City. She was predeceased by a brother, Fouat Ramiz; and a sister, Unfuvan Atasoy.

      John T. McMillan Jr.
            Mr. McMillan, 76, of Howell, died Aug. 28, 2010, at home. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served during the Korean War aboard the USS New Jersey. Prior to his retirement, he was a supervisor for A.M. Weismann Wholesale Meat, Perth Amboy, for over 30 years. He was also the former treasurer for the N.J. Parkinson Disease Association, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, for 15 years. Mr.

            Mr. Maxfield, 47, of Howell, died Aug. 29, 2010, at home. He was a graduate of Howell High School and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a self-employed truck driver. Mr. Maxfield was predeceased by his mother, Suzann Milocik Maxfield; and a brother, Eric John Maxfield.

            Mrs. Schue, 77, of Howell, died Aug. 29, 2010, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Mrs. Schue was born in Freehold and had resided in Howell since 1953. Prior to retiring, she was a court officer at the Monmouth County Court House, Freehold. Her husband, Irving Schue, died in 1995. Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, James I. Schue, Daniel W. Schue, and Robert E.

      Lubomir Vitanov
            Mr. Vitanov, 63, of Jackson, died Aug. 27, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and had lived in Howell before settling in Jackson 25 years ago. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union No. 9, Manalapan. Mr. Vitanov was predeceased by a sister.
