• “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” by Washington Irving will be presented by the American Historical Theatre of Philadelphia at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Jackson library, 2 Jackson Drive, Jackson. At the end of the presentation, there will be a discussion about the 19th-century author. This program is funded by the Horizon Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment of the Humanities.
