• The Jackson Food Pantry, located in the Jackson Department of Public Works, 10 Don Connor Blvd., will be open on the second and fourth Saturday of each month 9-11 a.m. to make it easier for the community to drop off donations. Upcoming dropoff dates will be Sept. 11, Sept. 25, Oct. 9 and Oct. 23. All are welcome to bring in donations and receive a tour of the pantry. Volunteers are welcome to stop in during these times to help with cleaning, sorting, and stocking of shelves. Large food drives are welcome, but special arrangements should be made in advance.
