Mr. Mrakovcich, 78, of Howell, died July 31, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. He was born in Krk, Croatia. Prior to retirement, he was a courtroom attendant at the Monmouth County Courthouse in Freehold. He had also worked as a drywall taper and finisher. He was the owner of the Ocean Front Bar, Sea Bright, and Short Stop Liquor and Deli, Farmingdale. Surviving are his wife, Bridget “Nancy” St. John Mrakovcich; a son, Joseph J. Mrakovcich; a brother and sister-in-law, Mario and Maria Mrakovcich; and a sister and brother-in-law, Maria and Peter Milovcic. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel, Farmingdale, followed by entombment at Maplewood Chapel Mausoleum, Freehold. Arrangements were by Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
