Mr. Megill, 80, of Howell, died Jan. 14, 2012, at King Manor Care Center, Neptune. He was self-educated in weather, medicine and audio-visual techniques. Mr. Megill owned and operated his own farm for more than 50 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War, where he was wounded. Mr. Megill was predeceased by two sisters, Carrie Brown and Laura Hanson; and a brother, Stephen Megill. Surviving are two sisters, Miriam Miller of Long Branch and Helen Megill of Farmingdale. A graveside service was held at the Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
